Every sale is an improvised scene, and the customer is your scene partner, not your opponent. The sales track applies the Three Tenets to real deals.
- Accept and react, not “yes, and.” Acknowledge what the customer said and respond honestly, even when you can’t agree.
- Observe and React: read the words, the body language and the co-buyer, and respond to what’s actually there.
- Commit: hold an honest point of view at the hardest moment of the deal.
- Collaborate: the customer leaves feeling smart, not handled.
- Cut the red-flag words that signal stalling, then say your sentence and stop.
Sales-track practitioners are scored on two real or role-played deals, using the same scoresheet and the same bar.
