WHY CERTIFY
A credential a stranger can trust
The Offer Project started with a frustration. Our founder holds change management, product owner and Scrum certifications. One was a three-day workshop with an open-book test. Two were a couple of hours online. They made him more marketable, but they never asked him to show he could actually do anything.
A third-party credential can’t be faked on a resume. Ours is earned by demonstrating observable skills in scored scenes, then verified on LinkedIn and on a public verification page.
FAQ
Questions, answered
What does certification actually prove?
Foundational competence, not mastery. A certified practitioner reliably shows all three tenets at a Standard level or better. It doesn’t mean they’re a comedian or a stage-ready performer.
Do I need to be funny or have acting experience?
No. We aren’t looking for entertainment. We’re looking for people who understand what’s happening in the scene and can show the skills they’ve practiced.
Can people fail?
Yes, and that’s the point. Skilled people sometimes miss on the first try because they’re strong on two tenets and weak on the third. A score below 12 shows exactly what to work on. Practice it, get re-scored and earn the credential when the skill is there.
Why not “yes, and”?
“Yes, and” is training wheels for beginners. At work you can’t agree with everything. We teach accept and react: acknowledge what was said, then respond honestly.
Is it in person or online?
Both. Pilot cohorts run in South Florida with seats on Zoom. Team workshops run on site or virtually. Foundations is fully online.
How do we get started?
